How Not to Fix Your Boat!Supper with friends on Friday night ensured that we didn't get down to Southsea in time for the tide on Satruday so we planned a weekend of jobs.... Saturday's fine weather soon put paid to that the sun lured us out for a walk in the late afternoon instead of greasing the loo pumps. On Sunday morning we realised we were early enough to leave the marina and soon found our selves heading out into the Solent as everyone else was heading home! It was a grand sailing day reaching across towards Bembridge at 7 knots, gybing and heading down towards Bembridge Ledge before turning back to Southsea. We arrived just in time both for squeezing over the sill and for lunch. No work done but it was a grand weekend! Susie 12:48 PM - Nov. 6, 2006 - post comment
