Sorry, I have not checked the Comments so it has taken me a while to reply. yes, migrating 100 posts will take time – there is nothing I can do about that I am afraid.

When I set you up with an account it functions exactly like a standalone WordPress site but with restrictions – you cannot install plug-ins and you cannot create new users unless they are already on the network.

This is not the best way of attracting my attention . . . only just noticed it, sorry.Have emailed you. Let me know what you want your new blog called and I will set it up.

Per the question of migrating old to new: 100+ blog posts? That’s going to take a long time, especially all the photos, et al.

Question: yotblog has multiple “Users”, example each yacht. Limited administration privileges, are they set to “contributor”? Does each User page also have an administrator (the owner of the boat) to manipulate the blog page then? If yes, are there limits because each boat’s blog comes under yotblog? Can a single yacht’s page have more than one administrator?

When I backed up the old one a year ago I created a series of Word documents which include links to pictures. These work well and are correctly formatted (having manually changed some of the funny characters produced either by the backing up progress or a previous software change – can’t remember now). I thought that I could have a go at copying these and, if it doesn’t work, do it as per your recommendation.
