We were invited to crew in the Sail 4 Cancer Pro Celebrity Race on Tuesday. Jonjo and I were on Undina Gryff Rhys Jones's yacht, Michael and Ralph were on Josephine her sister ship and Brian was on Quiver IV. With winds gusting up to 30 knots Jonjo had to work very hard to winch home the headsail (top). My role was more sedentary (bottom) until I was instructed to put another reef in. Not so easy because we were racing so there was no going into wind to ease the pressure on the sail. Gryff is not one of those comedians who in miserable in real life. He entertained us all on the day and later in the week at the prize giving dinner.
