The media are begining to get behind Classic Sailing Club.
Elaine Bunting in this month's Yachting World very kindly devotes a quarter page to us including a picture of Jonathan and I looking rather fetching in our woolly hats aboard Night Wind. I don't really understand, though how she thinks that membership 'doesn't come cheap'. A Super Value membership only costs £1500 a year and there are still a few Founder Memeberships at £3000 (or £300 per month for 10 months) a year. Considering an average marina berth costs around £3000 and our members will get as much sailing as all but the most fanatical boat owners, it sounds like a very good deal to me.
