Apr. 19, 2006 - Photo shoot for the Maid

Hampshire Maid out in the Channel off Shoreham last week on a photo shoot for Classic Boat.  On board is Jonathan and Geoff Howlett who is writing an article about buying a SCOD. Geoff was all misty eyed after the wonderful day sailing on the Maid. It turned out he had owned her in the eighties and wished he still did. He told us some of her history including a circumnavigation of the British Isles by his then co-owner.
