Come on in and say hello via a 'comment'. We've cruised our Hanse 46' sailboat from UK to Egypt to the Caribbean mainly two handed from 2004 to 2008 - and enjoyed every minute. We are back temporarily in the UK - but sunshine beckons us again for next summer.

Merry Christmas from Bequia

Posted at 1:15 PM, Tuesday, December 25, 2007

Hi Y'all,

Awoke this Xmas morning parked up on a mooring in middle of Admiralty Bay, Bequia.  Had two not so threatening boarders in the form of Santa and one of his reindeer climbing up the davits (see card below).........

The suns up, the waters warm, and a long sandy beach walk beckons before a champagne lunch, afternoon snooze, and evening Xmas dinner.

Have just done the round of 'phone homes' and whilst we look forward to the rest of the day, dreamt of a transporter to zip us back to family for one last Xmas dinner.  However - all is not lost this end.

Have linked up with old pals Annette and Paul off Talulah up from Grenada, have already bumped into and sunk a few beers last night with a prior business acquiantance Paul Hayter and spouse Diane from Perth (yeah - stunning eh), and yesterday saw Anteater pull into the bay to also spend Xmas here also.

So we are not lonely.  Have booked a big table at the beachside Gardinia Restaurant for a joint Xmas meal this evening - and fully expect to be comotose by midnight.

Here's our Xmas card below.  You all take care, have a great Xmas, and as Dave Allan used to say 'May your Gods go with you'.

Love and kisses

Sue and John xx
