29th March 2006 - Prepping for the Trip

Got off the plane yesterday from a chilly UK to find 20 + degrees of brilliant sunshine and forecasted westerly winds for next week.

Sadly found lots of the jobs promised as completed were not. So it's looking like a busy week to ensure we are all done and we are able to depart as planned on Sunday.

Crew member Gerry arrives Friday, and we'll have the engine turning over and will slip away once Marcus arrives Sunday mid afternoon.

With good fortune we will expect to find ourselves off the southern tip of Sardinia in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
