Cephalonia - Now I Know we've got a name for the birds......

Tied up in Cephalonia it did not take long to get a visitor. We'd hardly moored alongside the public quay - 50 metres fromthe customs post - when Charlie Alpha Tango appeared looking for some loving (and of course some tucker). He / she certainly encouraged the birds to take off and remained basking on deck all day.
If anyone else visits this spot be sure to drop into Cafe Leo (we think that's the name). It's on the opposite side of the road from the public quay - between the ferry ticket office and a classy jewellers - and run by a young couple Leonardo (Alabanian) and his wife Kelly (Brit). In less than 2 months it looks like its going to be a family of 3.
They only opened the business last year and appear keen to do anything to help yotties and themselves. They came over to welcome us and offered to organise the switching on of the public water taps - plus over a cold beer provided lots of local tips. I think Kelly was missing an English conversation - and they made good company too.
As there is no operating marina in Cephalonia they plan to add a VHF radio, showers and a small laundry to their cafe. Maybe take our ideas of a change of name to Cephalonia Yacht Club - and add a book exchange library. I've no doubt they'll develop a good business either way - very nice people.
