Yacht Fiona of Whitby

• Jun. 9, 2007 - Finally arived in A Coruna!

Had  a great trip to Spain on northeasterly winds - it was a bit of a rollercoaster especially the last night when we had a easterly gale force 7 which  sent us off course and occasionally filled the cockpit with water! It took 4 days and Fiona loved it. We had huge pods of dolphins all the way and some strange looking sunfish. A Coruna is warm sunny and we are enjoying the vino and tapas. We´ll keep in touch and will post some photos soon.

CONGRATULATIONS

Glad to hear you both made the crossing safely, now you can enjoy the sun
Four days seems pretty speedy Fiona must of cut through the waves. No doubt the northeasterlys had a lot to do with that. The same winds that are bringing a carpet of fog to us poor old sole's in Whitby.

Have your number now will ring later tonight

Well done, Dave, Sue and Fiona. Am interested in your description of the seas coming into the cockpit!! Got the book for Dee which Sue left in the Marloag, thanks. The Shirley Bassey is nearly exhausted as I spent the long weekend in Glandore, Schull and Crookhaven and other boats called over too many times!!
Have a super time. The weather here has been incredible but in true Irish fashion it is beginning to change.
Kindest Regards,
Gene, Dee and SOUBRETTE
P.S. I have started my own blog (www.yotblog.com/epns)
