When we set off on our travels again we intend to make for Northern Ireland before sailing south to Southern Ireland, and possibly the Scilly Isles and France. So watch this space! |

At last I've managed to get ashore to find some internet access! We have been marooned on Fiona for the last 3 days riding out a storm at Arisaig on the Morrar Peninsular. Thankfully we are on a safe swinging mooring but we experienced winds up to 55 knots - a real force 10 gale!! I will be posting some photos soon - the weather has been too gastly to take many. We managed to get as far north as Loch Torridon but had to abandon our plans to go around Skye as the seas were too rough. We are still hoping to get out to Canna in the Small Isles and to Barra in the Outer Hebridies but the forcast isn't too promising. Please keep in touch with us. I can get e-mail on my mobile phone - signal permitting - but have trouble sending them by mobile. Hope everyone is ok - we are !
A big thamkyou to our friends Shelby and Dave who we have caught up with in Arisaig. Thanks for the greatly needed shoping in Fort William. Hope you and Jack have a great summer sailing. |
